Facilitators
Darlene Boileau retired in 2018 as Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Financial Officer, Infrastructure Canada, after a public service career spanning 30 years.
A fluently bilingual senior executive who has had varied federal experiences.
In her last position at Infrastructure Canada she oversaw the introduction and implementation of large infrastructure program priorities for the government and was instrumental in the creation of a stand-alone infrastructure department with its own Minister. She also oversaw the wind down of the PPP organization and developed the TB submission for the transition plan to Infrastructure Canada. In her previous organizations she led legislative and regulatory amendments and chaired international foras.
At the Treasury Board Secretariat, she had the privilege to work with social portfolio departments on high quality value for money programs that were successfully presented to the President and Treasury Board Ministers.
Darlene has had the good fortune to have worked in the corporate, policy and operational domains in large and small departments such as Health Canada, Environment, Immigration, Public Safety and FINTRAC.
She holds a Masters in Science, a Bachelor of Social Sciences and Law and a CPA certificate.
With her husband who is also entering retirement, she enjoys travelling, yoga, discovering new places, gardening and walking her two fur babies.
