The IOG offers 32 specialized courses designed to give public servants concrete, practical-based knowledge and skills to become more effective public servants and advance your professional development. Our courses are available across three learning pathways:
- Policy and Governance
Designed for policy analysts and thinkers at all levels looking to build their policy-making skills and analysis.
- Front Line Leaders
Designed for front-line supervisors and managers who need to manage change in their organization, build their teams, enhance their communications and digital skills, and become more resilient in the workplace.
- Innovation
Designed for managers who want to lead and thrive in a dynamic, changing, and increasingly diverse workplace.
Each course is taught by an experienced facilitator with on-the-ground experience of the subject matter. Most courses are taught virtually, allowing regional public servants across Canada to participate fully. Some in-person offerings are also available.
Each of these courses is also available as a team training option to public sector organizations.
