David Murchison
David spearheads the IOG’s international efforts, focusing on promoting governance projects globally, with key initiatives currently in the Middle East and Asia.
David’s career spans leadership roles in both public and private sectors. A retired federal public servant, he made contributions to policy and strategic planning at Infrastructure Canada, the Asian Development Bank, and Finance Canada. He also held management positions in the oil and electronics industries.
David has an MA in economics from Queens University. He is a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors (2017).
