Bruno Bonneville

Bruno Bonneville

With over 30 years of experience in senior posts in the federal government, Bruno brings a wealth of knowledge to the IOG in public policy development strategic planning, mediation, and service delivery. A Principal Negotiator for the implementation of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, Bruno has worked extensively in the Aboriginal area. He was Executive Director of the Indian Taxation Advisory Board and served as a Special Adviser to the Associate Deputy Minister of Lands, Revenues and Trust at the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development. His experience in the federal government has also included working for the former Department of Consumer and Corporate Affairs in the areas of program evaluation and management systems, and serving as Executive Director of the Law Commission of Canada from 1997-2006.

Outside of the federal government, as a private consultant at Stratéjuste, Bruno was the Chief negotiator for the Federal Bridge Corporation and worked with Aboriginal organizations such the National Centre for First Nations Governance and the First Nations Statistical Institute. He has also served on a number of boards, including the Outaouais Regional Hospital board.
