Zackery is the Marketing and Communications Manager at the IOG. He is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the IOG’s Marketing and Communications programs, initiatives, and activities. Passionate about growing communities through contemporary media platforms and creative marketing campaigns, Zac works to raise awareness of the IOG and its offerings.
Zac has worked in a variety of public and private sector roles focused on expanding audiences and reach through traditional and contemporary communications techniques. Most recently, he has worked with Ottawa Markets as the Communications and Events Coordinator where he expanded the corporations reach and impact through community coordination, creative content, and innovative marketing strategies.
He has also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa where he facilitated all virtual and in-person communication between the research team and community and university stakeholders.
Zac is a member of Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn First Nation.
