Todd Kuiack is a former Canadian Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, with extensive posting experience in Latin America, notably in Cuba, Chile and Mexico. He recently served as Director of Operations in Plans and Priorities and as Indigenous Champion in the Privy Council Office.  At Canadian Heritage he was the first Executive Director of Reconciliation and Treaties and Engagement, leading his department’s actions on the Horizonal Working Group for MMIWG as well as Indigenous Co-Champion.  Todd brings a wealth of experience in Emergency Management and Indigenous relations gained through his time as Director of Emergency Management at Indigenous Services Canada and Director of Metis-Crown Policy and Partnerships at Crown and Indigenous Relations.

Todd is a member of the Indigenous Advisory Committee of the Toronto BlueJays Major League Baseball club Care Foundation bringing baseball and improved facilities to communities across Canada.  He enjoys coaching youth baseball cross country skiing, and hiking in Gatineau Park.
