The IOG Governance Knowledge Hub is a pan-Canadian initiative linking some of the top governance thinkers and experts. We are inviting them to join us as IOG Knowledge Hub Fellows. Fellowships are for two-year terms and are eligible for renewal. We are seeking Fellows to undertake applied research, write, or help teach in at least one of these five Thought Leadership themes:
- Parliamentary Democracy and Governance
- Populism, Disinformation, and Governance
- Collaborative Governance, Federalism, and Civil Society
- The Future of Public Service Work
- Science and Innovation Governance
Each theme has a lead Fellow whose role it is to initiate and steer thought leadership initiatives such as research papers, workshops, and events with the IOG.
If you are interested in becoming a fellow at the IOG Governance Knowledge Hub, please contact Dr. Lori Turnbull at lturnbull@iog.ca . We welcome applications from senior scholars and practitioners of governance who have a strong record of achievement in a field of study or practice related to governance in Canada and related to one of the IOG’s thought leadership themes.
Junior fellowships: We welcome applications from doctoral and post-doctoral students in Canadian universities who research relates closely to governance in Canada. We believe strongly in supporting the work of young scholars who are poised to make important contributions to knowledge about governance and governing institutions in Canada.
Message from the Governance Knowledge Hub Curator
“Collaboration and applied research on governance questions matter more now than ever as we face cross-cutting and complex challenges. I’m excited to launch this space as a dynamic meeting place for scholars and practitioners of governance to collaborate. If you are excited about governance issues and challenges, this may be the space for you!”
