Institute on Governance Announces the Appointment of Ryan Androsoff as Vice President of Learning and Leadership

Ottawa, January 31st, 2025 – The Institute on Governance (IOG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Androsoff as Vice President of Learning and Leadership, effective February 3, 2025.

Ryan brings over 25 years of experience working with government, elected officials, and international organizations, with expertise in digital government and leadership development. He is the Founder and CEO of Think Digital, a consultancy dedicated to helping public sector organizations adapt to digital disruption. Since 2018, he has been an IOG Associate and key partner through Think Digital, leading digital leadership programs and advising on public sector innovation initiatives.

The appointment follows a competitive hiring process launched in the fall of 2024. In his capacity as Vice President of Learning and Leadership, Ryan will oversee the IOG’s leadership development programs designed for public servants. The IOG offers expert-led courses that blend in-person and virtual learning, executive coaching, and mentoring, empowering leaders to address complex governance challenges.

The IOG also wishes to thank Catherine Waters for her steady and capable leadership as Acting Vice President.

Ryan holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University. He has been widely recognized for his contributions to digital transformation and is a sought-after speaker on digital government innovation.

The Institute on Governance is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to advancing better governance in the public interest. Through its Learning and Leadership programs, the IOG equips public servants with the skills and knowledge needed to lead effectively in a rapidly evolving landscape.
