Owen Charters is CEO of Pathways to Education Canada, providing the supports youth need to overcome the barriers they face and graduate from high school. An accomplished nonprofit executive, he has previously led several national organizations, including BGC Canada and CanadaHelps. He serves on several boards and advisory committees, including the advisory board of Common Good, a retirement plan for nonprofit sector employees, the Advisory Committee for the School for Advanced Studies in the Arts and Humanities at Western University, and the boards of the National Alliance for Children and Youth and the Institute on Governance. As a lifelong baseball fan, he also serves on the board of Baseball Canada. He continually advocates for a stronger nonprofit sector voice in Canadian policy, and is frequently sought as a speaker, author, and lecturer on issues facing the charitable and nonprofit sector.
