CityScapes Roundtable No.5: Toronto Tour

1 minute read

The CityScapes Roundtable Program visited Toronto in January 2003 to learn about the challenges facing large metropolitan areas. The City of Toronto organised a day and a half program that allowed participants to explore multi-level government cooperation, and to examine various issues related to city planning, economic development, effective zoning, the waterfront revitalisation, transportation, housing, urban poverty, immigration and settlement, and youth employment. Participants also met with representatives of all three levels of government and local NGOs.
