NFP Governance Leadership: Creating A Culture Of Accessibility Governance Quick Check Tool

1 minute read

This is a short yes or no questionnaire which, when completed, gives board members and CEOs a quick impression of the “state of affairs” of the organization when it comes to accessibility. It contains ten indicators that correlate with governance leadership on accessibility.

These questions are not intended to provide a definitive analysis of an organizations accessibility status, but to furnish a general indication of board members’ perceptions of how effectively they are leading the organization and the status of the organization in this area. Its main purpose is to identify challenges and to encourage dialogue within the board and between the board and CEO. It is also intended to stimulate interest in board self-evaluation on their leadership on accessibility and discussion on how to improve the organizations responses.
