This new webinar offering builds on the skills of dealing with conflicting positions and interests. The webinar draws on the research of the Harvard Negotiation Project and the method of principled negotiation in Getting To Yes. This webinar builds participants’ skills and confidence to put this method into action – including learning negotiation techniques, understanding your own goals and interests and the other sides’, and arriving at win-win solutions. Instructors include experienced negotiators and guest speakers with public service experience of difficult negotiations.

The IOG value-added

All IOG courses are prepared and taught by those who have held senior positions in the federal government. They are guided by a Learning Committee of senior federal government public servants.
