Cancellation Policies / Terms

Applicable to Webinars and On-Site Courses (when they may resume).  Not applied to Leadership Program courses.

Cancellation of Registration for an individual for a webinar – An individual must cancel their registration no less than 2 business days before the start date of the course. No fees will be assessed if: the registrant is replaced by another person from the organization; or the original registrant signs-up another course. If neither of the previous apply, then the registrant forfeits payment or will be invoiced for the cost of the course (as applicable). (Leadership programs do not fall under this policy.)

Cancellation of Custom Course/Webinar – Cancellation of an entire Custom delivered course must occur no later than 3 (three) weeks prior to the start date of the course.  Failure to do so will result in a $500 invoice for the client organization.  (A Custom course/webinar is a presentation of a course specifically delivered for a client and is distinct from scheduled courses where individuals can register and attend.)

Cancellation of a course by the Institute on Governance – The Institute endeavours to provide a range of stimulating and valuable courses for participants. Occasionally, course offerings may need to be cancelled for various reasons.  Under these circumstances, the IoG reserves the right to cancel courses up to 5 business days before the course start date.
