Event Series: IOG's Policy Crunch : Disruptive Innovation and Public Policy in the Digital Age

We are at a special moment in history. New innovations, driven by rapid technological progress, are quickly changing the paradigm on commerce, culture, state and society. But is government prepared for this shift? Governments worldwide has been notoriously slow to adapt to technological change, and the current pace of change has accelerated beyond all precedence. For government to continue to perform its core functions there must be a paradigm shift... and now its crunch time.

Join us for the IOG's 2018/2019 speaker series on Disruptive Innovation and Public Policy in the Digital Age, or "Policy Crunch" for short. Once a month from September to May, the IOG will host a panel of leading experts addressing a different issue of technology's impact on policy. All events in the series will take place in our ASPIRE Lab in the Byward Market. These sessions are designed for policy practitioners, experts and interested parties to learn, explore and share ideas with an expert audience.

Live broadcasts will also be available on the IOG Youtube Channel and on Twitter at #PolicyCrunch. Register early on Eventbrite to ensure a reserved space. Click the hyperlinks below to find out more about our other work on Science and Innovation Policy and Digital Governance.
