The Institute on Governance is dedicated to working towards improving governance in Canada and around the world.

As an independent, not-for-profit organization with charitable status, we make some of our services and all of our research products FREE for public consumption.  We self-fund research that is intended to be innovative and disruptive, we invest heavily in areas of our work that are critical to our mandate (e.g., Indigenous governance), and we often undertake work in civil society pro bono.

Recent examples include:

  • Support to the Ottawa-based Refugee 613 as they prepared to support the transition of approximately 25,000 Syrian refugees to Ottawa
  • Support to Soldiers Helping Soldiers – an organization that provides support to soldiers through a network with local support service providers/representatives
