Junior Research Officer
Nicholas Pullen joined the IOG in May 2015 as a summer research intern and is now a Junior Research Officer. He has worked in political communications at the national and international level, having served as an intern for Digital Strategy at a London-based political international and as Social Media Director on a national Canadian campaign. His developing practise interests include digital governance issues and the modernization of government, indigenous governance, and municipal issues.
He holds a BA in History from the University of Oxford, where he won Somerville College’s Cobbe scholarship and served on the college’s history society standing committee.While attending Lakefield College School, he was an active student debater, eventually competing at the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships for Canada, where he placed eighth.
