Policy is moving in new directions, signaled by Destination 2020. The report announces the creation of a new, PCO-led Innovation Hub that “will provide expertise and advice on emerging areas and will help change the way the Public Service does business. It will also support departments in applying new approaches—such as behavioural or ‘nudge’ economics, big data, and social innovation— to complex policy and program challenges.”
