Q. Is the IOG part of the Canadian government?

A. No. The IOG is an independent organization, a self-supporting, not-for-profit entity.

 

Q. How is the IOG funded?

A. The IOG is a not-for-profit organization supported on a fee for service basis.  It receives no core funding from government or any other source. We enter into contracts for our research and advice and there are registration fees for our learning programs.  As a registered charitable organization, the IOG can accept donations from foundations, other charities or individuals.
