Getting Ready for an Election and Government Transition
Special lunchtime workshop at the Institute on Governance – June 5, 2015
The IOG is running this special lunchtime workshop for senior managers and executives in the federal public service on Friday June 5 from 11:30 am to 2:00pm.
The workshop will be led by a former senior public servant, Roberta Santi, formerly Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Priorities and Planning and Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Machinery of Government, at the Privy Council Office, with extensive experience in government transitions. The IOG offers a vibrant learning environment where participants can explore issues and raise questions without reserve.
You are invited to attend this one-time session to discuss the issues facing public servants during an election period. The workshop will give you insights into how to prepare for a new mandate, of whatever political stripe, how to manage the organizational agenda and priorities, and what important principles are at play during transition periods.
Space is limited and the event is by registration only. Tickets are $50 each. Included in the registration is a buffet lunch.
The workshop is being held at the IOG offices at 60 George Street, 2nd floor, Ottawa K1N 1J4.
